Bread


I attempted to make bread today.  I tried a recipe I saw on TV and it turned out pretty well. We let the dough to rise for a full day.  Unfortunately, the last thing I need is eating more bread.

Too funny! I made the same kind of bread Saturday/Sunday(the almost-no-knead from the Cooks Illustrated video podcast: using beer and vinegar, an 18 hr rise and a dutch oven).

Ours turned out fantastic!

That is funny, I used a dutch oven too. No beer or vinegar for us. Just water (lots of it), flour, salt and yeast. The loaf is one that is best ripped apart versus cut with a knife. Great for dipping in balsamic and olive oil.
