I joined a local camera club. They have competitions with CAPA judges and workshops such as photoshop tutorials. Below are the two images I submitted this month.
I got a Bronze (8/10) for the first image. The criticism was the bright leaves on the right side of the image. The projector at the club is much brighter, those leaves were almost white on the screen.
The second image got a 7/10. The critique was you cannot see Mattias' eyes. I expected that but I guess in competition they are harsh on those sort of things.
