Cates Park

Earlier this month we spent the morning at Cates Park. They have a great new playground. The park is on the water across the inlet from our place. Mattias collected wood for a camp fire. We needed to roast marshmallows so tidbits were substituted. It was so cute.

The blossoms are out early this yet and I have the allergy symptoms to prove it. ;-(

We explored the intertidal zone and Mattias found a little crab. I also got a neat picture of a bird catching and trying to eat a good size fish.

Maui - Submarine

One of our trips was in a submarine, the Atlantis out of Lahaina. It was pretty neat, we went down to 130ft.

Maui

I am finally getting around to publishing some pictures from our trip to Maui. It was a great vacation, Mattias loved going to his Hawai'ian home and keeps asking to go back. We went whale watching, went down in a submarine, saw whales and sea turtles from our deck, spent lots of time at the beach, and swimming/snorkelling. One of the best experiences was one day while swimming, if you held your breath you could hear the whale songs. That was so cool.
