A Day with Thomas

Today we spent the day in Squamish with Thomas the Tank Engine.  Mattias got to ride a big train, play with other kids, look at trains and got his hand painted with Thomas.  He was not to sure about Sir Topham Hatt. I prefer his name in England, the Fat Controller.  ;-)

The Joys of Shag Carpeting

We stayed in a great apartment in Seattle (our 2nd time there) . They are great places, well finished and in a great area of town. This apartment has a shag carpet in the front room which Mattias pooped on during the 2 minutes he was commando all day (of course). I was the lucky one to have to clean the rug. Who has shag carpets???? Certainly not people with kids. ;-) It was okay, it cleaned up great.

seatle zoo

A day at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. We met up with Greg, Anita, Noah & Roman for a day with the animals. We got to feed the giraffes. With Noah there walking (running) around all day Mattias did not ask to be carried (which he usually does). It is funny how he tries to be like the other boys. When we did make it to the car at the end of the day, he was asleep in minutes.

Seaside, OR

We wenty to Seaside with two other families. Greg, Anita, Noah, Roman, Kelly, Lara, Noah and Spencer. That was 5 boys younger than 3 years old. Boy, it got noisy at times but great for the kids. Lots of beach time.

Above we have Noah B, Mattias and Noah J.

Olympia Wa, Children's Museum

To break up the drive down to Seaside, OR we spent a night in Olympia. There Mattias loved riding the luggage cart and had a blast at the Children's museum.

We knew it, he will be a doctor!
