Toy Garage

Today we picked up a toy garage for Mattias.  It reminded my of the toy garage (Fisher Price) that my brother and I had,  I remember playing with it for hours.  We found this at Winners for only $9!  It was open box (obviously a return) but hey, for that price you can't go wrong.  Mattias loves it.

Playing with Adobe Lightroom

Yesterday I checked out a local photo club.  They had a guest speaker from Adobe showing off Bridge, Photoshop and Lightroom.  Some pretty cool things were shown.  I have Lightroom, so when I got home I had to try and fix/recover some images that need work.  These were done really quickly, certainly nothing too fancy but do show how you can recover from underexposed and over exposed photos as well as add graduated filters to recover blown out skies.  They even had a door prize for a copy of Lightroom.  I didn't win but i have a copy.  (thank you education discount and Justines' student card!)

We'll miss Kevin

Our neighbour Kevin is moving to the Okanogan. He was a good neighbour and kept his yard in an immaculate state (thus forcing me to keep up our yard). He dropped by the other night.

The next picture Mattias took ;-) He has to work on framing but not too bad.

Maralynn and Bekah

Bekah came to town to visit and pick up her mom who stayed with us for a month to help out with child care.  Mattias will miss Maralynn.  It was good to see Bekah.
